Does Austin, Texas, need a new bar? The answer is NO. Austin needs an OLD bar. Barton Springs Saloon is an OLD bar, a throwback to a time when professionals, college students, legislators, and locals met and mingled at a "watering hole" with unique character and Austin style.

Our mission is to provide a distinctive. Austinthemed bar in an accessible, visible location with the ambiance and character modern local bars are missing. We want our customers to have a neighborhood bar for the after-work, happy hour crowd; the after-game crowd; and the late-night after-dinner set.
We're located on the corner of Lamar and Barton Springs Boulevards. Just down the street are several restaurants, including The Green Mesquite, the original Chuy's, and Shady Grove. The Long Center for the Performing Arts is down the street, Zachary Scott Theater is within walking distance, and the playing fields of Zilker Park will produce patrons weary (and thirsty) from softball and baseball games, soccer, etc.
Our vision includes a rooftop deck, which will look out upon Town Lake and Downtown Austin. Seats will be at a premium during Austin's 4th of July fireworks spectacular! Watch for that coming soon! And of course Austinites are always enamored of al fresco seating at any bar venue.
